In this workshops participants will be allowed to choose from a selection of 35mm vintage cameras to use for the day. We'll start with some quick photography 101 fundamentals in the gallery space, then voyage out into the historic East Village neighborhood. 

The East Village is known for it's tenement style architecture, sprawling green community gardens, and a rich history of art and politics. Alex will guide the tour, re-telling stories of eccentric characters and dramatic events that helped to make this neighborhood what it is. All the while instructing how best to use these vintage cameras to capture the essence and the stories of this quixotic place. 

Prints and digital CD will be available for pick up in 2 days or can be mailed (international shipping not included)
